Thank you for the book! I find that I can adapt it for use in a high risk classroom.
I would LOVE to find videos of "finished products" for the lessons… That way, while the kids are self-directed, they can "see" what the 'bot should do!
I just want to thank you for providing the online resource. This week will be my first time introducing LEGO Mindstorms Education to my Algebra 2 class. Our plan is to work with it at least once or twice per week. I will keep you updated on our progress.

This is my first year teaching EV3 Lego robotics and this book helped me very much. We were able to start the tasks and assemble the rovers with ease and efficiency. I am thrilled to have found your book!
Sean, You'll be able to do about 80% of the activities. You wont be able to do the Ultrasonic Sensor or Gyro activities, and conversely there are no activities for the IR or the Beacon (which are part of the Retail software and Kit). That being said however, the concepts are very similar and so it wouldn't be difficult to figure them out.
If I purchase your book do I need the EV3 education bundle with the extra $99 software package or can I do all of the activities with the commercial version of the EV3 I can purchase at amazon?

I have used NXT for years but I need to get up to speed with the EV3 fast. This is a fantastic resource, it would also be suitable for a novice. I would strongly recommend this resource, thanks for producing it Damien.
